Download the Solar Referral App from the App store or Google play store. You can then select a sales rep if one referred you or choose none. Enter contact info and agree to the terms. You’re ready to go!

Start sending referrals!
Select the product you would like to refer to (solar or Energy Efficiency), add referrals. Submit, you’re all done!

Follow the progress of your referrals and your rewards
Once your referral makes a purchase, follow the progress bar until the project is complete and you get paid! Make sure that you have notifications enabled for the app, so that you’re alerted when you receive rewards.

What is this app?

It is the chosen app for the Solar Advocates Referral program, where we give back to our Users and Customers, providing them with a way to earn some quick cash! The referral app is a way for you to refer friends and family members to Solar. As a thank you for sending them our way, we will give you $25 for every qualified referral!

If the person you referred qualifies for solar or energy efficiency, they will be offered a free consultation.

If the person you referred decides to go solar with one of the Solar Advocate installers, you will receive $1000. If the person you referred gets an energy efficiency upgrade package, you will receive $500. And yes, if they get both solar and a battery, you get $1500!!

What is the referral proccess?

Download the Solar App via the Google Play Store or Apple Store and create a free account. Refer your friend via the referral App by selecting what product you are referring them for (Solar Panels or Energy Efficiency) in the app then submit their information.

One of our solar partners will get in touch with your friend by phone to schedule a free consultation if they qualify for solar efficiency upgrades.

After your friend has completed their in-home consultation, we will pay you $25! If your friend or family member decides to go solar or upgrade efficiency with one of our partners, you will receive $1000 through the referral app.

Can I track referrals?

You can! The Solar Referral app allows you to track from when they enter our system to when they make a purchase. You can see all of this on your Referral Detail page.

How do I get the app?

The Solar Advocates referral app is available for iPhone and Android devices. You can download the app from the App Store or Google play store. Once you are registered, you will receive a confirmation text via SMS*. This will have your account information, and a link to download the app. Once you have downloaded the Solar referral app, you can submit referrals on the go! *Message and data rates may apply.

Do I have to have solar installed or be a customer?

No, you do not have to be a customer of any solar company to refer people and receive rewards. We allow anyone to download and join the program to spread the word!

What if someone else refers the same person?

If we receive the lead from multiple referrers, the referral fee will be paid only to the referrer who first submits the lead (indicated by the date of entry into our database).

Can I refer someone in another state?

Absolutely, as long as they are in an area we operate in. We currently service 17 States, and you can find this information at us.SunPower.com.
